PRODUCT DETAILS

Is it right for your home?

Found mouse droppings behind the kitchen units or along the skirting? The Victor Electronic Mouse Trap gives you a tidy way to tackle indoor mice without rodent poison. It delivers an electric shock inside its chamber and flashes a green light to signal a catch.

Why choose an electronic trap?

The enclosed chamber keeps the catch discreet. Switch the trap off, empty it without touching the mouse, then clean and reset it as instructed. It catches one mouse at a time and can be reused.

Getting started

Fit four AA batteries, add a small amount of suitable food lure in the bait area and position the trap along a route with fresh signs. Follow the supplied directions to arm it. Use only in dry indoor locations, out of reach of children and pets, and switch off before opening or handling the chamber.

Cover the active routes

Check at least daily and remove catches promptly. If there are signs in several places, using more than one trap helps cover the routes. Mice are usually quicker to investigate new objects than rats.

Help prevent another visit

Clear food spills and check pipe openings and other gaps. Our Pest-Store Rodent Proofing Fabric helps close suitable entry gaps once the animals have been cleared. For a lower-cost trapping option, compare the Pest-Store Mouse Trap.

CHOOSE YOUR APPROACH

Traps or poison?

01 / TRAPS

See the catch.
Reset and reuse.

A practical first choice for confirmed rats or mice indoors, where you can place and check traps daily. A catch gives you a clear result and lets you remove the rodent straight away.

  • Control without rodent poison
  • See where your setup is working
  • Reuse suitable snap traps

02 / POISON BAIT

A feeding point.
A different approach.

For a confirmed rodent problem, suitable bait may be an option where its label allows use. A lockable bait station helps prevent children, pets and wildlife from reaching the poison, while rodents enter to feed. Check and replenish the bait as its label directs.

Using poison indoors? Rats or mice may die beneath floors or behind walls, causing an unpleasant smell where the body is difficult to reach. Traps in accessible positions let you find and remove the catch.

  • No trap to reset after each feeding visit
  • Takes days to work, rather than giving an immediate catch
  • Choose amateur-use bait for your pest and location
When to consider bait ↗

KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT

Mice investigate.
Rats take patience.

Mice are usually more curious about new objects, so trapping is often more straightforward. Rats can be wary of a new trap or bait station for several days. This is called neophobia — a fear of new things. Give a well-placed setup time rather than moving it after one quiet night.

COVER THE ACTIVE ROUTES

More than one point.
More chances to find it.

Activity in several places? Use more than one trap or bait station to cover the routes where you find signs. Several well-placed points often work better than relying on a single spot. For poison, follow the bait label for the number of points, spacing and amount at each one.

Keep checking your setup and look for fresh signs. Good placement, removing easy food and blocking the way back in all help your treatment work. Read the practical setup advice →
