Ants keep returning even after you clear them away? Outcast Ant Bait Stations work with the ants' feeding behaviour to reach the colony. Worker ants eat the gel and return to the nest, sharing the bait with other ants.
Why choose ant bait?
A spray treats insects or surfaces directly. Bait gives feeding ants time to take the treatment back to the nest. It is a practical choice for black garden ants following a regular trail through the home or around a building. This pack contains three stations, each pre-filled with 4g of gel.
Ready in three steps
- Snap off the tab on top of the station.
- Squeeze the gel compartment to release the bait into the central feeding area.
- Place the station beside an active ant trail, following the pack instructions.
Where should I put them?
Follow the ants to find their route, then place stations where they are active. Clear away competing food, such as crumbs and spills. Indoors, suitable positions may include sheltered areas near skirting boards or entry points. Outdoors, use sheltered positions around the building that cannot be washed by rain or cleaning water.
How many do I need?
The label allows 1–5 stations per 40m² according to activity. Give ants time to feed and return to the nest; results develop over days. Stations may be replaced after a minimum of seven days, following the label.
Get the best from the bait
Leave feeding ants to return to the colony and avoid disturbing the trail. Do not spray insecticide onto the bait station. If you prefer a treatment for suitable hard surfaces, compare Dethlac lacquer as an alternative approach.
Placing the stations
Keep the bait contained: do not open the station or handle the gel. Place only where children, pets and other animals cannot reach it, away from food-contact surfaces, drains and hot surfaces. Keep out of children's reach, remove stations after treatment and follow the pack's disposal instructions.
